Millie Harrison, who is studying for a Motor Vehicle level 3 – MV Service and Maintenance technician apprenticeship, works for Express Cabs & Couriers, Maidstone.

Congratulating her, Express Cabs & Couriers’ Operations Manager, Jason Brown said: “Millie has become an invaluable member of our team, bringing dedication, enthusiasm, and a true team spirit to everything she does. Her hard work and willingness to take on challenges, coupled with her ability to listen and learn, have made a significant impact on our workshop’s growth. Alongside the apprenticeship team, Millie has played a key role in driving progress, and it’s no surprise that she has been named Apprentice of the Month, a well-deserved recognition for an outstanding talent.”

Thanking Millie for her outstanding contributions, David Franklin, lecturer, MidKent College, said: “Millie has consistently demonstrated outstanding commitment, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. She has completed all assigned work to an exceptionally high standard, showing great attention to detail and a clear understanding of expectations. Millie consistently asks thoughtful, in-depth questions that reflect her genuine desire to deepen her knowledge and enhance her skills. Her ability to quickly absorb new information and apply it effectively has been remarkable.

“Week after week, Millie has shown significant growth, developing her skills to a level above what would typically be expected at this stage of her apprenticeship. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and drive for continuous improvement have not gone unnoticed, and she sets a fantastic example for her peers. We look forward to your continued success.”

Millie said: “Moving from a full-time course to being an apprentice with MidKent College has been a huge step and has taught me many things such as determination perseverance and how to reflect and learn from mistakes. This course has solidified my love for the trade, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it if it wasn’t for my tutors from both this year and my previous year.”

Congratulations Millie.
